My Birthday Outfit: Garment #2 & #3 for 2015

Hello everyone. I made an outfit, for my birthday, to wear to the Cameo concert at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club in Maryland.I had SUCH a good time. I went with my two best friends Renita and Shalonda. I didn't decide to blog or chronicle my sewing endeavors until after I made my blouse so I do not have "work in progress" photos of it. I do, however, have "work in progress" pictures of my leggings. I made a sample of the blouse using some old bedsheets. I did have to alter the top quite a bit. I had to shorten it and take in the sides. I didn't make a sample of the leggings because the measurements were spot on. I absolutely LOVED this outfit and these two patterns will go into my "Go-To Patterns" box. It took me a day to make the top and about 40 minutes to make the leggings. Let's take a look shall we? :-)
